LED Industry Placement Machine

The "LED Mounter" project undertaken by the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Research Institute of the Hefei Institute of Physical Science, Chinese Academy of Sciences has broken through the core key technologies such as precise positioning under high-speed motion, multi-axis coordinated motion control and automatic pick-up correction, and has entered the pilot stage.

This placement machine is entrusted to be specially developed for the LED industry, which can meet the flexible needs of LED lighting manufacturers. It is suitable for the production of standard 600/1200mm LED fluorescent tubes (T8, T5), covering all LED related products such as LED cars. Lamps, hoses, patio lights, etc. At the same time, the placement machine provides highly flexible programming capabilities, so that the operator can adjust the placement mode according to the LED components with different BIN values to ensure the uniformity of the end product.

According to the characteristics of different components, this machine adopts material suction nozzle, which has high wear resistance and is equipped with shrapnel design to reduce the impact force on the surface of the LED during mounting. It can also mount general RC or SOP electronic components, and the range of mounting components is 0805~ 24*18mm, the placement speed is up to 8000CPH, it is a fully automatic placement machine with high cost performance.

Through the research and development of the project, the scientific and technical personnel have accumulated valuable experience in the design and manufacture of precision equipment, multi-axis collaborative control and system integration, which has laid the foundation for the research and development of high-speed and high-precision placement machines.
